UCP Central PA's mission is to empower people of diverse abilities to live a meaningful life through innovative support and services. Our values are: 1) Put the interests of people we support first; 2) Communicate with all stakeholders ; 3) Connect with each other through our shared commitment to the mission; 4) Seek innovative ways to create possibilities; 5) Inspire each other to lead, and 6) Foster collaboration and teamwork through trust, accountability, adaptability and respect.

About UCP of Central PA

UCP Central PA has been creating opportunities for people of all ages with all types of disabilities for nearly seventy years. Today our nearly 1,600 employees deliver on our mission as we empower 2,400 people with diverse abilities each year to live a meaningful life through innovative support and services. We are planting seeds daily until we achieve our vision of a community that embrace's every individual's abilities. We encourage a life without limits for people who are born with a disability, acquire a disability through illness, accident or injury, or are aging into a disability through our comprehensive service offerings. We offer children who are experiencing delays in meeting developmental milestones various therapies to help them reach their full potential through out early intervention services. We deliver a broad system of support for the entire family including grandparents and siblings through our family support services. We provide the support, resources, and access that helps people secure, maintain, and succeed at competitive, meaningful employment through our supportive employment program. We help people lead more independent, full, and engaging lives while volunteering, working, shopping, or participating in recreational opportunities through our home and community services. We are building strong community connections by matching each person's strengths, preferences, and abilities with available local opportunities through our community participation supports. We provide a place to call home, and a nurturing and supportive family environment rich with life experiences for people through our residential services. We provide the opportunity for people to manage their own supports and services through our agency with choice participant directed services. We restore and refurbish home medical equipment and assistive technology devices and redistribute to the community free of charge through our recycles equipment exchange program. We make everyday living easier, and otherwise impossible tasks possible for people through our assistive technology services.
