Rise Again
Rise Again has been supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries for the past decade. Once we meet our new goal of establishing adaptive track and field in Pennsylvania schools all remaining proceeds will be donated to NextStep Pittsburgh. Thank you for your continued support as we work towards making a difference in the lives of those impacted by spinal cord injuries.
The most frequent grant request has been for activity based therapy. It is one of the reasons we started Rise Again to help families afford the cost associated with having to travel for therapy not offered nearby. NextStep Pittsburgh will provide standardized activity-based recovery interventions based on current scientific evidence for people with neurological disorders for recovery of function, health, and quality of life. Currently anyone seeking progressive therapy needs to go out of state. NextStep Pittsburgh will fill that need locally which will ultimately improve recovery. Let's make this happen!
