The Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania (SBAWP) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for people with spina bifida, related disabilities, and their families by providing a continuum of direct services, education, and advocacy.

About Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania

SBAWP programs provide essential services and programs than enable individuals with spina bifida, and related disabilities to find a place to belong, to renew their enthusiasm, to build character, and to overcome obstacles on their journey to become thoughtful, active, and successful members of society. SBAWP has served over 1,000 individuals and 600 families primarily from the 28 counties in Western Pennsylvania, but also from central and eastern Pennsylvania and from parts of Ohio, West Virginia, and New York.
