CONTACT Altoona is a person-centered telephone helpline whose mission is to respond to the needs of individuals through active, reflective listening and when appropriate, to make referrals to needed services. Our goal is to enhance personal independence and quality of life.

Helpline: Life can be stressful! Some days can be more overwhelming than others; at home and work, dealing with family or relationships. If you need someone to listen, we're here. CONTACT Altoona is a telephone helpline who responds to the needs of callers by active, reflective listening and offers referrals. Call our free Help Line at (814) 946-9050 and talk with one of our volunteers. Reassurance: CONTACT Altoona Reassurance is a service for Blair County individuals in need of medication reminders, welfare checks or just someone in need of a regular phone call to ask "Hello, how are you doing today?" If you have a loved one or a patient who could benefit from these services, please contact our office at (814) 946-0531.
