About Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA

The EAWCP works to meet the needs of our epilepsy community. We provide a variety of programs and supportive services that benefit children, adults and families whose lives have been affected by epilepsy/seizure disorders. Some of these programs include workshops and education events, virtual support groups, free CareShare respite/nursing services, emergency medication assistance, high school scholarships, weekend camping trips for youth and teens, the Oscar Project (providing service dogs), help obtaining sleep/movement monitors, and Project School Alert which educates teachers and students on seizure recognition and first aid. These free programs are designed to support people living with seizures.
