About CONTACT Helpline

 

Every day throughout South Central Pennsylvania, our friends and neighbors face a crisis. Whether needing food, shelter, utility assistance, or support, people at their lowest moments can call CONTACT Helpline's highly trained specialists, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For more than 54 years of continuous community service, CONTACT Helpline volunteers and staff have been here, ready to help callers in need navigate the confusing world of health and human services.

Anyone can call the emotional listening support lines and PA 211 anytime. CONTACT Helpline supports any individual who needs help by providing callers with free, confidential, person-centered, active listening and emotional support 24/7/365. Services are available to all regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, lifestyle, age, educational background, national origin, religion, neurodiversity, or physical abilities. There is no eligibility requirement to receive service.
