About Children's Miracle Network at AHN Saint Vincent

Children's Miracle Network raises funds and awareness for the pediatric patients and their families seen in the NICU, pediatric unit and emergency department at AHN Saint Vincent. CMN is able to provide top of the line medical equipment, additional support services to patients' families, and more. CMN is here to help kids like Everly.

At 24 weeks Derek and Carlie welcomed twins Everly and Jameson. They were born weighing 2lb. 7oz. and 2lb. 4oz. Due to complications from Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, Jameson went into cardiac arrest and passed away at 2 days old. Everly remained on oxygen in the neonatal intensive care unit. She had bradycardia episodes, suffered bowel issues, had Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) and a feeding tube for the first two months of her life.

At 3 months old, Everly was strong enough to head home weighing 7lbs! Because of her prematurity, she has undergone several procedures in her life. At the age of 2 she had surgery to close her PDA. At age 3 she had tubes placed in her ears and a hernia repaired at age 4. She has chronic lung disease and asthma but no other long-term issues. Derek and Carlie say "she is a healthy 5-year-old starting Kindergarten. She is spunky and full of sass! She is our little miracle!"

Because of generous donors like you, Children's Miracle Network can continue to provide lifesaving equipment to help children like Everly come home healthy to their families, who are forever grateful.
