Manada Conservancy is a land trust dedicated to preserving the natural, historic, agricultural, and scenic resources of Dauphin County through land conservation, environmental education, and community engagement.
About Manada Conservancy
Founded in 1997, Manada Conservancy has preserved 2,000 acres of farmland, forests, and creek-sides...and counting! We work with landowners and the local community to conserve natural resources and preserve the Central Pennsylvania landscape for future generations.
Fulfilling the mission of Manada Conservancy represents an opportunity for positive action on the local level by preserving land, encouraging biodiversity, promoting healthy active lifestyles through outdoor experiences, and providing education for both children and adults about what we believe is truly precious in this natural world the land, water, air, plants, animals, and especially, the people. If you share in these beliefs, we hope you will join us in this effort to support Manada Conservancy's mission of a healthy local environment through the Highmark Walk for A Healthy Community!
