This team is walking on behalf of Friendship House in the Highmark Walk.

Since Friendship House's inception 35 years ago, Christ Church has been an active participant in the Frriendship House Ministries. Our Outreach grants have been instrumental in supporting the Women's Transitional Housing Program where motivated women, coming from domestic violence shelter, rehab programs or prison, work with program workers to learn the skills to lead healthy, self sufficient lives. Our church volunteers have also worked at The Clothing Bank of Delaware, another Friendship House Ministry. Other teams of church volunteers have supported Friendship House ministries by cooking dinners for the men and women's housing program or providing hospitality to the street homeless during Code Purple, days when the temperature drops below 20 F.

This year's walk will on June 10, 2023 at the Riverfront.

This year a generous donor has pledged to give Friendship House $1,000 for every team, walking on behalf of Friendship House, that is able to raise at least $2,000 and recruit at least 20 walkers. With your help we can meet the goals to receive the match. Please consider joining our team and/or donating to the team.
