Mission Statement

The mission of the Hope Medical Clinic is to provide free non-emergent medical and dental consultation and treatment to the uninsured members of our community.

About Hope Medical Clinic, Inc.

Hope Medical Clinic, Inc. began in 2000 as an initiative of the Association of Pilipino American Physicians of Delaware to which the Hope Foundation was formed as the charitable arm of the association. They saw a need for effective healthcare for the indigent population of our community. Hope Medical Clinic, Inc. opened its first doors in 2003 under the guidance and direction of four prominent physicians from the community. It has been through the generous support of The Modern Maturity Center that the clinic can remain open, as the building is provided gratis to our center.

Our target population is those who do not qualify for state assisted healthcare and are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level based on members of their supported family. The clinic's services are free of charge to our patients and are provided by licensed professionals who donate their time. Hope relies heavily on donations, fundraisers and grants to support our efforts of free medical and dental care to the uninsured, underinsured indigent members of our community. This includes prescription medications, lab work, radiology/imaging and sometimes requires referrals to specialists.
