The Transformers: Honoring Nick Redding

Welcome to The Transformers Team Page...  we will be proudly honoring the memory of the late Nicholas Redding.
On January 16th, 2018 at the age of 13, Nick departed our world. That summer we started to walk together in this honor of him as the Transformers Team, a tribute to his lifelong love of the movies.
In the eyes of those who knew and loved him, Nick was a hero. He was smart, kind, and compassionate, as well as a practical joker. Although his journey here was too short, his loving spirit and sharp wit made a lasting impression on all he met.
Nick had a chain of "Beads of Courage" that was so very long. Each bead and even longevity beads (representing multiples) represents a surgery, a blood draw, a test, isolation, MRI, Ct, an overnight stay, an ICU stay, OT and PT inpatient, an IV, etc... He remembered each one. He did so without complaint or negativity… teaching us each day how to “transform” ourselves into better people.
We miss him every day and are so honored to keep his legacy alive!
Thank you for supporting this team, the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania, and the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community! We hope to see you in May!
