Please consider making a donation on my behalf to support Pittsburgh Mercy's Operation Safety Net®. Operation Safety Net was founded in 1992 and touches the lives of hundreds of men and women living on the streets in Pittsburgh annually by providing them with access to health care, hope, and dignity. We are recognized as one of the nation’s first, targeted, full-time street medicine programs. Programs include teams that walk the streets and river banks, a medically equipped van, a severe weather emergency shelter, drop-in day services, case management, legal assistance, and housing. Our program for health care delivery, medical education, and community building has become a best practice model for other homeless programs nationally and internationally. OSN endeavors to reduce the barriers that those living on the street experience in accessing health care, and securing housing.
Thank you for supporting me in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community.
