Mainstay Life Services

Mission Statement

To provide life-long, high-quality support services, ensuring that people with intellectual disabilities and autism lead fulfilling lives and realize their vision of a desirable future.

About Mainstay Life Services

Mainstay has provided supports to people with intellectual disabilities and autism, and their families, for more than 50 years. Currently, the organization is supporting more than 320 people in Allegheny and the surrounding counties through numerous programs and services including: residential, life sharing, supported living, community participation, behavioral and clinical supports, employment supports, and more!

All Mainstay supports are person-centered and tailored to meet the needs of each individual. We assist people as they learn new skills, develop friendships, and participate fully in their community. Mainstay supports people as they live their best life, as they choose.

As a technology first organization, we champion innovations that bridge the gap between the needs of the people we support and the technologies that can meet those needs. Technology is engaged to enhance health, wellness, safety, and independence. At Mainstay, technology is helping people to live and thrive in their community.
