Mission Statement

Our mission is to raise funds to support breast cancer research, clinical trials, and education within the greater Pittsburgh area. Also, we help breast cancer clinical trial patients with the added cost for transportation, meals, and child care.

The Glock Foundation is dedicated to encouraging people to participate in clinical trials to help develop new treatments in the fight against breast cancer. We have made numerous presentations to church groups, community groups, college campus organizations, and businesses in the greater Pittsburgh area explaining how participating in a breast cancer clinical trial can improve survivorship and lead to more personalized and specific treatment for cancer care.

We also assist breast cancer clinical trial patients in covering any added costs they incur for transportation, meals, and/or child care.

Breast cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer, and the second most common cause of cancer deaths in women in the United States. Clinical trials can help reverse this trend with more participation and that's why we are ""targeting breast cancer through clinical trials!"'
