About Community Living and Support Services - CLASS
Community Living And Support Services (CLASS) is a nonprofit organization offering a variety of individualized services to adults and seniors of varying abilities. These services include residential services, community skills training, vocational programs, in-home and community based supports, attendant care services, outreach, and advocacy. CLASS believes that all people, regardless of ability, have a valuable role to play in our communities. It strives to provide self-directed services that are unique to the individual needs and preferences of each person. The organization advocates and creates opportunities for people of all abilities to live, work, and play in the communities of their choice.
In the past, proceeds raised through the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community allowed CLASS to fulfill our mission of Working Toward A Community Where Each Belongs by helping to build an accessible home for our Residential Services, finding inclusive activities for children through the CLASS Kids Program, and allowing for CLASS to continue our commitment to people of all abilities by supporting the capital campaign. The funds raised from the 2019 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community support men and women of all abilities living in the communities of their choice.
