About Acquired Brain Injury Network of PA (ABIN-PA)

ABIN-PA is a nonprofit organization of brain injury survivors, family members and friends who are helping others on the journey to recovery. ABIN-pa is dedicated to increasing public awareness about acquired brain injury, and to providing support, education, information, advocacy and other services for individuals with acquired brain injury and their families. (NEW PARAGRAPH) ABIN-PA incorporated on June 1, 2007, but activities began earlier with a website in August 2006 and a free monthly newsletter in February 2007. Now, ABIN-PA also provides an InfoLine, speakers, staff training, more than 25 different brochures, several booklets, individual and public policy advocacy and collaboration with other nonprofits. The newsletter now reaches 1,400 subscribers.
