Inspired by Gospel values, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederick Ozanam, and patron St. Vincent de Paul

About Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food for Families

The SVDP Food for Families is dedicated to fighting hunger in our area. The program consists of a food warehouse and family kitchen in both Altoona and Johnstown. The warehouses provide service to over 30 food pantries and other organization providing groceries to area families in need. The kitchens provide a lunch daily to all in need. Some 100,000 meals are served every year.
