The mission of SCU is to provide the highest quality coordination of services to all persons with disabilities, empowering them in their pursuit of independence and interdependence with the goal of creating a full and inclusive community.

About Service Coordination Unlimited, Inc.

SCU offers high quality, individualized services and case management, so that all individuals may continue to play an active role in their communities.SCU enables adults with physical disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own homes.Service coordinators assist individuals in coordinating their services based on their individual needs and available supports. SCU works with anyone currently enrolled in the Office of Long-Term Living waivers including ACT150, Aging, Attendant Care, OBRA, Independence, and Community Health Choices in all regions served.In addition, SCU's Pittsburgh Office serves individuals in the Bureau of Autism's Autism Waiver.For those who may not be eligible for these waivers, SCU provides services to individuals supported through trusts, settlements, private pay, or third party entities.Service Coordinators can offer the following services:Environmental modifications Miscellaneous durable medical equipment Transportation PERS (life call systems) Community Transition Services In addition SCU can connect individuals to other community resources such as:Personal care Respite Educational services Community integration Peer counseling Night supervision Adult day Supported employment Prevocational services
