Leading the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig's Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

About The ALS Association Western Pennsylvania Chapter

The ALS Association Western PA Chapter provides care and support at no cost to persons living with ALS, caregivers, families, and healthcare providers in 31 counties throughout western Pennsylvania. Our services include personalized health and home assessments, equipment loans, transportation, home and wheelchair modifications, respite care, educational symposiums, and financial support for a multidisciplinary clinic and an ALS Certified Center of Excellence. The proceeds from the Walk help to sustain and enhance these and other critical services as well as support ALS research on a global scale.Our guiding principle is that persons living with ALS and their families come first in everything that we do.
